Alpha-Lite is a turn-key alpha detector suitable for a wide variety of applications, including surface surveying, contamination monitoring, and scientific research.
For counting, place the detector point-blank over the source.

Installation
- Connect the Ludlum 43-5 detector to the MCA-LITE.
- Connect the MCA-LITE to a PC via the included USB cable.
- Install PicoSDK on your PC.
- Run PulseCounter Pro software. The software comes with a default project containing an optimized preset. Clone the existing project by clicking the CLONE button and start a new measurement.
Requirements
- 64-bit Windows PC
- USB 3.0 port
- Screen resolution: 1920×1080 or higher
- For the software UI to display correctly, set the Windows font scaling at 100%.
