Description
PulseCounter LITE basic pulse processing and spectroscopy software comes standard with all the the MCA-LITE products.
The software performs the following tasks:
- Configures the instrument for a specific experiment by specifying the pulse shaping and pulse counting algorithms;
- Records the count rate history and computes the count rate, the pulse width, and the rise time histograms as well as the pulse height (or the pulse energy) spectrum;
- Computes the count rate mean and the standard deviation, fits the count rate histogram to a Poisson distribution and reports the quality of the fit;
- Allows calibration of the pulse-height spectrum using an arbitrary number of the reference energy points.
