Description

This proportional counter is highly sensitive to thermal neutrons and is an excellent choice for nuclear fusion research.

Sensitivity

• Typical Background Counts: 1-5 CPM

Moderator

• For best results surround the detector with 3 inches of HDPE moderator on all sides.

Connectivity

• SHV connector.
• Use 1 nF capacitor and for HV bias voltage filtering and 10 MOhm resistor for HV bias load.
