This cable can be of arbitrary length, as the detector can be positioned at a significant distance from the balun receiver-DPP\/MCA system.<\/li>\n<li>Connect a +5VDC power (5V USB-C connector) to the balun receiver to energize the Gamma-X detector (use power from your PC&#8217;s USB or an external +5V AC\/DC adapter).<\/li>\n<li>Connect the Pico-MCA to a PC via the included USB cable.<\/li>\n<li>Install <a href=\"https:\/\/www.picotech.com\/library\/our-oscilloscope-software-development-kit-sdk\">PicoSDK<\/a> on your PC.<\/li>\n<li>Run <a href=\"https:\/\/maximus.energy\/index.php\/product\/pulsecounter-pro\/\">PulseCounter Pro<\/a> software. The software comes with a default project containing an optimized preset and a <sup>137<\/sup>Cs calibration spectrum for the system.
