Description

Maximus Energy LaBr3 Gamma-X Detector is a spectroscopy-grade gamma probe suitable for a wide variety of applications, including dosimetry, nuclear medicine, nuclear pharmacology, environmental monitoring, surveying, reactor instrumentation, and scientific research.

The main advantage of the Maximus Energy LaBr3 Gamma detector over conventional NaI gamma detectors is its significantly higher resolution, which allows the separation of closely spaced spectral lines and increases sensitivity for specific peak counting.

Maximus Energy LaBr3 Gamma Detector is compatible with most MCA/DPP systems. To build a complete gamma spectrometer, connect the detector to a Pico-MCA and use the PulseCounter Pro gamma spectroscopy software to acquire a gamma spectrum and counts.
